The town hosted an in-person Community Workshop to gather input on the update of Aspire 2035 Town of Sahuarita General Plan. The General Plan is the long-range planning document that outlines the future growth and development for the Town and is required state statute to be updated every 10 years.
The workshop was held on July 23, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 in the evening in the Sahuarita Council Chambers located at 375 W Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, AZ 85629.
In addition to the in-person workshop the town is now hosting a virtual workshop!
Step 1: Watch the presentation for the virtual workshop below.
Step 2: Take the General Plan community survey by clicking the links in the General Plan Community Survey tab found below the video.
Step 3 (Optional): Use the Mapping Exercise tab to participate in the optional Mapping Exercise. This is the same exercise linked at the end of Part 1 of the Community Survey from Step 2.
If you would prefer to fill out a PDF or paper version of the survey, two PDF versions (one for print and one fillable form) are available on the right hand side of this page for download and/or print. Please be sure to return the survey by September 5, 2024 to the Town of Sahuarita Community Development Department located at 375 West Sahuarita Center Way, Sahuarita, Arizona 85629. You can return your survey by emailing it to sahuaritagp@sahuaritaaz.gov.
